The Rotary Club of Swansboro is recognized throughout Rotary for its ability to raise funds for community projects. When a Rotarian approaches Business People, Friends or Neighbors with a request to support a worthy project, they reach for their wallet and/or checkbook and freely and generously give their support. Citizens of the community know up front what Rotary has done to make a difference in the community for their efforts to make our community a better place to live, work and play.

From the beginning when the Rotary Club of Swansboro was chartered in 1978 every Club Member has recognized their responsibility to make a difference in the community by demonstrating this motto of Rotary “Service Above Self” THE ROTARY CIVIC CENTER The crown jewel of the community is The Rotary Civic Center built with pledges from Rotarians, Businesses, Friends and Neighbors.
